Wind Potential Assessments – Kruščica Project, Serbia

Project description: The Client was primarily interested in sites in Vrčac and Bela Crkva region. Kruščica site is located in Bela Crkva municipality, near Romania border (AP Vojvodina). The area is suitable for large wind turbines and a wind farm with capacity over 20 MW. Fintel Multiservizi completely founded the project. After the site selection, the Consultant has erected one 50 m measurement mast and started with wind parameter measurements at 10, 30 and 50 m above ground. Measurements were carried out in accordance wiht the IEC 61400-12 standard. Major consulting and engineering services provided by SEEC were:

• Project management and coordination;
• Selection of the best site for wind potential measurement and site visits;
• Determination of mast micro-location;
• Mast and equipment installation (and dismantling) including preparation of necessary technical and legal documentation;
• Recalibration of the instruments;
• Acquisition, check and processing of data;
• Preparation of wind potential study;
• Presentation of the project;
• Advisory services and recommendation for further activities on the project;
• Communication with relevant authorities.
