Wind Potential Assessments – Kladovo Project, Serbia

Project description: In 2008, the Consultant performed several site visits at few sites in Eastern part of Serbia. Kladovo site (near Kladovo, Djerdap) was selected as the one suitable for further development. Two 50 m tubular measurement masts have been erected and measurements were conducted on three levels: 10, 30 and 50 m above ground according to the IEC 61400-12 standard. Project had been founded by two companies, Decotra Srl and Eko-Ki. The Consultant’s role was to conduct the wind potential measurement campaign and to create a wind study report at the end of the measurement period. Prior the measurement campaign, the Consultant was responsible for site selection, mast installation, permitting and communication with relevant authorities. Based on measured wind potential, the Consultant created wind farm layout and production estimation. Major consulting and engineering services provided by SEEC were:
