Technical Assistance (TA) to EMS Project Monitoring, Serbia

Project description: EMS required short-term technical assistance in relation to the final stage of an investment project for the rehabilitation of substations, as part of the modernizations and rehabilitation of the Serbian electricity transmission network. In that context the EIB co-financed the rehabilitation of the following substations:

 

 

EMS has established a Project Implementation Unit (PIU) to ensure the proper implementation of the project by finalizing the project design, preparing the tender documents, supporting all the procurement made under the Finance contract with EIB, supervising the execution and the completion of the works and managing the Project. The purpose of this TA contract was to assist the PIU with reporting issues related to the whole project, i.e. both Program A and B by preparing and submitting the quarterly progress reports during implementation of both programs and within the available budget.
