Project description: This Pre-Feasibility Study had provided comprehensive information on the proposed technical solution and attractiveness of an investment into small hydropower plants Cijevna 1, Cijevna 2 and Cijevna 4 on Bosna River in Republic of Srpska (Bosnia and Herzegovina). The results of this study had provided the information to Technor Energy AS (Client) that will be relevant for making final decision whether to proceed with project realization activities. The viability of these projects had been defined according to usual approach and methodology for this type of the studies. General objective of this Pre-Feasibility Study gave reliable base for evaluation of electricity generation possibilities and for making right decisions concerning project justification needed for further activities on design, construction and operation of these small hydropower plants. With respect to this, the assessment of total investment costs for realization of the SHPPs and expected revenues in the future period by taking into account all relevant aspect, issues and constraints were also given within the study. Technical solutions for SHPPs Cijevna 1, Cijevna 2 and Cijevna 4 were given on the level of details appropriate for this type of studies taking into account the purpose and goal of this Study.
