Project description: Vršac region, situated in north east part of Serbia is known as one of the places with best wind potential in Serbia. Required number of wind masts was installed to cover minimum 12 months of measurements. Based on collected data and reference data form the most representative weather station and their correlation, wind potential of this location was assessed, taking into account all relevant parameters (available land area, grid connection, environmental impact, etc.). Based on these data a wind farm layout was designed. Estimated capacity of wind farm is 117 MW. SEEC prepared all documentation which is necessary for obtaining all required permits and licenses following Serbian legislation, from grid connection application, energy permit, building permit, energy license, etc. Experts of SEEC also participated on all public debates and exhibitions.
