Project description: A ten-year power generation and transmission masterplan was developed for the Khuzestan Region on behalf of the Khuzestan Regional Electrical Company. Khuzestan Regional Electrical Company (KHREC) commissioned the client with preparation of a comprehensive generation and transmission masterplan for the Khuzestan power system, with major services subcontracted to Fichtner and Fichtner subcontracted S.E.E.C. Ltd. For the generation and transmission masterplan for the Khuzestan power system commissioned by Khuzestan Regional Electrical Company (KHREC) from Ghods Niroo, major services were as follows:

• data collection and load forecast;
• power generation masterplan;
• preparing least-cost generation expansion planning;
• power transmission masterplan;
• training and study tour.

SEEC provided following services under this assignment:
