Project description: World Kinect Energy Services (WKES) is part of World Fuel Services, a global energy leader and Fortune 100 company offering procurement, optimization, and logistics solutions for more than 180 different fuel products such as electricity, gas, diesel, gasoline and many more. WKES began in 2016 but the roots of the company have been around for decades. The company represents the collective talents of the former Bergen Energi, Nordisk Energipartner, U.S. Energy Services, UX Energy, Beach Front Energy, and KTM, Inc. which were merged and converted to leading global energy management company. SEEC was subcontracted by WKES under short-term call-off missions to provide local consultancy services for energy (electricity and gas) brokerage and regulatory consultancy in Serbia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro and North Macedonia for WKES global clients operating in these markets. Following services are provided by SEEC:
- Verify that all data (consumption, profile, site list, and other information requested for tendering that shall be communicated by the client) are provided. In collaboration with Client, prepare load forecast for the Portfolio and prepare a final site list;
- Carry out request for tender regarding Energy Supply Contracts (Electricity & Gas) from relevant Suppliers in the market;
- Evaluate received tenders and prepare basis for the Client’s decision-making with recommendation/advice on best option;
- Present result to the Client;
- Make arrangement for the Client to enter into Energy Supply Contract(s) with relevant Supplier(s);
- Monitor established Energy Supply Contracts during the Period of Agreement;
- Annual budget estimation for electricity and gas of different Clients;
- Preparation of Regulatory Report Overview and quarterly reporting for electricity and gas with focus on:
- Description of current taxes and current standard rates of all taxes,
- Elaboration of all exemption/reduction mechanisms for each tax applicable for industrial/commercial customers,
- Description of current grid cost elements and current standard rates of all grid costs,
- Elaboration of each exemption/reduction mechanism for each grid cost element applicable for industrial/commercial customers,
- Description of additional topics which are of relevance for industrial/commercial customers,
- Description of additional topics which are of relevance for the energy costs of industrial/commercial customers, such as: Guarantees of Origin (GoO’s) national scheme, as well as other possible schemes as indirect carbon costs compensation national scheme, white certificates national scheme….
